LSU holds a series of fair to kick-start each academic year. This an opportunity for you to find out what LSU has to offer, how to get involved and great chance to meet new friends. The best way to find out what is happening is to pick up or downlaod a copy of The Beat our monthly newsletter which lists all the events; here is a summary of the fairs over the welcome period:
International Welcome Fair – Thursday 11 September: 11am-3pm, The Haigh Building
Saturday 13 September; 11am-3pm - IM Marsh Welcome Day
Especially for those studying at IM Marsh this is your opportunity to find out all about what LSU has to offer and how to get involved, join a clubs, societies or sports teams, plus meet your student officers.
Monday 15 September – LSU showcase and student groups fair: 11am-4pm (disabled access 10am-11am) Find out all about what LSU has to offer and how to get involved, join a clubs, societies or sports teams, buy you NUS Extra card and much more
Tuesday 16 September – Welcome Fair 1 11am-5pm (disabled access 10am-11am) – This is a great opportunity to meet external organisations and pick up lots of freebies, Liverpool’s best bars, clubs, retailers all exhibit alongside LSU
Wednesday 17 September – Welcome fair 2 11am-5pm (disabled access 10am-11am) - Second day of the commercial fair but many university departments and charities will also be exhibiting.
Thursday 18 September – LSU showcase and student groups fair 11am-4pm (disabled access 10am-11am) - Second opportunity to find out all about what LSU has to offer and how to get involved, join a clubs, societies or sports teams, buy you NUS Extra card and much more
Friday 19 September – Volunteering Fair 11am-4pm – Your first opportunity to see what volunteering opportunities there are at LJMU and Liverpool and how your skills can really make a difference
Friday 19 September - IM Marsh Welcome Day 2 11am-3pm – For those studying at IM Marsh this is your second chance to find out all about what LSU has to offer and how to get involved, join a clubs, societies or sports teams, plus meet your student officers
