LSU Environmental Statement (Aug 2008)
We will form an Environmental Task Force that will help to coordinate the environmental aspects of the union.
The remit of that Task Force will be to:
· To help communicate environmental and ethical good practice to students and staff via internet, email, posters, campaigns and meetings.
· To recommend actions to the executive to improve energy and ethical good practice.
· To set environmental targets for LSU.
· To review environmental performance of LSU.
· To be the contact point for staff and students to raise environmental and ethical issues.
We will enter for the Sound Impact Awards.
We will develop methods to identify and reduce our environmental impact.
We will communicate all our environmental policies to staff and students.
We will develop specific web pages relating to environmental and ethical good practice.
